When it comes to picking a protective top coat for your roof, we’re excited to share that we’ve developed a water based, 100% acrylic clear top coat to be applied over our roof membranes.
Clearcote is a top coat designed to protect your roof surface and to increase the longevity of the Globalcote Membranes Systems you’ve already applied. Plus, using it will extend the material warranty of those products.
Globalcote’s team of coatings experts formulate specialty acrylic exterior coatings right here in South East Queensland. We know that Australians need products that are suitable that will withstand our harsh climate which is why you’ll love Globalcote’s range.

When to Apply Clearcote?
It’s simple to include Clearcote in your application process.
Wait for your surface, which has been coated with a Globalcote Membrane System, to be completely dry before applying one (1) coat of Clearcote.
Clearcote must be applied within two weeks of the application of the membrane top coat.
How to Apply Clearcote?
We recommend applying Clearcote with an airless sprayer fitted with a 517 tip.
However, if you’re more comfortable using a brush or roller, you can also apply the coating with either of those as well.
- Touch dry – 30 minutes
- Full cure – 14 days
Important tip: Do not over-apply Clearcote. If you use too much of this product, or if there is any moisture present at the time of application, it may result in a milky appearance.
