Primecote Metal
As part of the
Globalcote system, Primecote Metal has been designed to seal and prime surfaces
and enhance adhesion of the Elastacote Membrane. It is a water-based acrylic
sealer primer with flash rust inhibitor for metal surfaces.

Recommendations and Precautions
When applying
Primecote Metal, make sure that you follow the recommendations and precautions
below;
- Ensure rust affected areas
are converted with Globalcote Rust Converter prior to application of Primecote
Metal. Two (2) coats of Primecote Metal
are required over rust converted areas. - Use only in a
well-ventilated area. - Ensure the application is in
accordance with Globalcote recommendations. - Due care and consideration
should be taken when water collection methods are present. Globalcote
recommends allowing 10 days curing and an initial rinse (rain or tap water
wash) prior to reconnecting water collection systems. - The surface preparation is
the responsibility of the applicator. The applicator should also ensure that
the substrate is of an acceptable standard prior to the application of the
Globalcote Coating System.
